Panaitan Island is located on the west side of Ujung Kulon National Park. A beautiful island, similar to Peucang island, Panaitan has an area of approximately 17,000 ha and has various suitable areas for exploration such as mangrove forests, coastal forests, tropical forests with various species of wild animals such as deer, long-tailed macaques, monitor lizards and various variants bird. There is also a statue of Ganesha along with ancient Hindu relics located at the top of Mount Raksa. On this island tourists can also do beach activities such as snorkeling, diving to surfing.
